Student Personal Bio - Henry grew up in a children’s foster home in the Mukono district, and has never seen or met his biological parents. With the help of the children’s home, he was able to attend school from nursery level to Senior-6 (12th grade equivalent). He left the children's home in 2008 to live with some relatives, but in 2014 their living conditions deteriorated and he had to start living alone. During that time he started learning how to weld and thatch grass, which is what he has been doing ever since. He has never been able to afford tuition to attend school again, but he is prayerful that he can attend Vocational School for Welding and Metal Fabrication, where his dream is to become a professional welder and metal fabricator.
